The Other Arm

The Other Arm is a training group that offers workshops to staff in children’s services to support them in providing an inclusive environment for all children. We believe:

• Staff in children’s services should have access to professional development that is current and relevant to their needs.
• That inclusion does not just happen. Quality Inclusion occurs when staff are well resourced and supported through training.
  
• That as a training project we are able to access professional presenters from specific disciplines at a cost effective price.

The Other Arm provides services and their staff with the opportunity to tap into current research and practice through small group workshops. Each workshop is tailored to meet specifically identified needs of all childcare services including early childhood settings, outside school hours care, family day care and in-home care.
