Friday, February 10, 2012: Lifeline Caboolture is hosting their first annual $2 Clothing Sale on February 25 & 26 at the Caboolture Centenary Lakes Basketball Court on Morayfield Road, offering locals incredible discounts on quality clothing.
Doors will burst open at 8:30am both days with the ensuing sale drawing to a close at 4:00pm each day. The sale has been established based on a similar event in Gympie that has proved very successful and an absolute hot spot for the community to get excellent quality, pre-loved clothing at a cheap price.
The success of the Gympie clothing sale has helped raised much needed funds for Lifeline and Sunshine Coast Business Manager, Ian Ezzy has decided to take it on the road.
“With the price of living on a day to day basis becoming harder, Lifeline is looking for ways to assist families and at the same time raise much needed funds for the counselling services provided by Uniting Care Community,” said Mr Ezzy.
“The Caboolture $2 Clothing Sale will stock nearly every type of garment imaginable; from dresses and jeans, to evening and office wear, to sportswear and more. The sale will cater to all tastes, fashions, styles, sizes and fads,” he said.
Unbelievably, every item of clothing is indiscriminately priced at $2. These items would usually be priced high in a Lifeline Shop, but for the sake of providing an amazing sale to the local community, Lifeline has fixed prices at just $2 per garment, no matter what.
“When we get an excess of stock because of the generous donations from the community, Lifeline looks for ways to give back, and holding the $2 Clothing sale is one way to do this. There is an opportunity for a great bargain for everyone.” Said Mr Ezzy.
We all need clothes to work and live in. There are many reasons why these clothes may need to be replaced – weight loss or gain, looking for a job, fancy dress, party attire, new baby, kids growing faster than ever, accident prone husband/children/wife/partner or just simply wearing them out!
While clothing companies make clothes that don’t last forever or fit every stage of our lives, through sales like this one, Lifeline Shops provide an affordable and simple way for the community to replace them.
The Caboolture $2 Clothing Sale will not break the bank – clothe the entire family in a new outfit each for under $20. With prices like that, you can’t afford not to go to the Caboolture $2 Clothing Sale on February 25 & 26.
