Strengthening communities

UnitingCare Community provides services throughout the state to assist those affected by suicide, financial hardship, gambling addiction and other issues that affect a healthy wellbeing.

To strengthen resilience within our community, Lifeline has counsellors available to provide assistance to communities affected by a critical incident such as a fatal car crash, a murder, or a workplace accident.

For communities affected by a natural disaster, our Community Recovery program provides psychological first aid officers for members of the community to talk about concerns they may have or emotions they feel, and to work through the next steps towards recovery.
