Almost all parents want to do their best to care for their children. Given the right conditions, many parents are able to make great changes in their behaviour so that even the most serious protective issues can be adequately resolved.
The Department of Communities, Child Safety refers families to UnitingCare Community intervention services to work with those families in addressing the identified child protection concerns and to ensure the family has the capacity to care safely for their children.
