Disability Training Services

UnitingCare Community has been providing services to people with disabilities for almost 80 years. Our extensive disability services provide support to over 500 people with intellectual, sensory and physical disabilities, psychiatric disabilities or acquired brain injuries. We specialise in providing a range of services to people who exhibit particularly challenging behaviours and have complex needs. 

Our experience in the field of disability services has enabled us to develop a highly skilled training team to deliver this qualification. Training participants can expect to receive a superior level of specialised professional support from our trainers and assessors.

CHC40308 Certificate IV in Disability

This qualification is part of the 2008 Community Services Training Package, which was developed by the Community Services & Health Industries Council, and details the national competencies and qualifications required for the Community Services workforce.

The CHC40308 Certificate IV in Disability supersedes the CHC40302 Certificate IV in Disability Work which UnitingCare Community has been successfully delivering for over 5 years.

The Certificate IV in Disability will equip training participants with the relevant knowledge and skills to provide training and support to people with disabilities to enhance their ability to achieve greater levels of independence, self reliance and community participation.
